Possession of Oxycodone Case Thrown Out in Pembroke Pines

Outcome of Oxycodone Possession Charge:

Rossen Law Firm’s drug defense attorneys got Cameron’s entire possession of Oxycodone case thrown out in Pembroke Pines, letting him return to his normal life.

Client Concerns about Oxycodone Possession Charge:

Cameron did not want to plead to a crime of drug possession that he did not commit, and he was scared of becoming a convicted felon. Cameron was also a student, and was worried that he would get kicked out of school and jeopardize his future with a criminal charge on his record.

Facts about Oxycodone Possession Case:

Cameron was hanging out all day with his girlfriend (now, ex-girlfriend) on a boat when she put her Percocet in his backpack without his knowledge. After a day of partying, they got off of the boat and Cameron dropped her off at home.

On his way home, Cameron was stopped by the police. They started drilling Cameron with questions, asking him to consent to a search. Cameron had no idea that he had any drugs on him, so he agreed to the search without any problem. The police found the pill bottle in his bag, with the name and information scratched off of the label.

Cameron told the police that the pills were not his, and that he had no idea of how they got there. Cameron was arrested and charged with the possession of oxycodone.

Strategy on Oxycodone Possession Case:

After Cameron bonded out of jail, he hired us to help prove his innocence and the fact that he did not know about the pills. Cameron reached out to his ex-girlfriend, who said that the pills were hers and that she put them in his backpack to hold them while they were on the boat.

We had the girlfriend sign an affidavit explaining how she had gotten a Brazilian Butt Lift two weeks prior, but was hiding it from her dad, which was why she scratched off the label on the pill bottle.

We also had the pharmacy recreate the pill bottle label, and we were able to get the proof of her medical procedure. We sent this evidence to the prosecutors and put pressure on them, since Cameron truly had no idea that the pills were in his backpack.

Due to our hard work, the possession of Oxycodone case was completely thrown out.
